The Our Second Home Staff

The Our Second Home staff consists of specialists in care coordination, mental health and community health, an administrative assistant and a program supervisor. They bring a variety of perspectives and a wide range of talents to bear on fulfilling the vision of Our Second Home. This exceptional group of people offers more than just talent and commitment. With their smiles and helpful attitude, they put everyone at ease.


Sherin Ziadeh
Program Supervisor

Sherin graduated from Skyline Community College with her A.A. in Liberal Studies in 2003 and transferred to San Francisco State where she completed her BA in Child and Adolescent Development with a Concentration in Young Child and Family in 2005.  Sherin completed her Masters degree in Education with an emphasis in Early Childhood in Spring of 2009.  She began work in San Mateo County in 2002, starting at the SSF Parks and Recreation Dept. teaching Preschool Classes and went on to work as a Teacher at the Early Childhood Education Center at SFSU.  In 2007 Sherin began work at the Child Care Coordinating Council as the SaMCARES and Quality Improvement Coordinator.  “Please feel free to stop by and say hello, we look forward to meeting you”


Nely Martinez
Administrative Assistant

Originally from Chalatenango, El Salvador, Nely has lived in Daly City for twenty-three years, where she and her husband successfully raised three children in Daly City schools. She knows everything there is to know about Daly City and Our Second Home. Just ask her. You're sure to get a cheerful reply in either Spanish or English.

Lucia Santis
Community Health Worker

Her past work experiences have given her the opportunity to work with a diverse ethnic population of all age groups in the Bay Area.  She is new to the partnership and has a great desire to help those around her, and is looking forward to new experiences working with families and their children.  

 

Sabrina Spadavecchia

Care Coordinator

 

Sabrina recently moved to the Bay Area from Southern California.  She has an extensive background working with children and their families.  In 1997 Sabrina received her BA in Child Development and Family Studies.   Sabrina has worked as a social worker with abused and neglected children and as a service coordinator for developmentally disabled children.   She recently received her MS in Educational Counseling, and has worked with students and their parents as a counselor.  Sabrina is excited to continue working with children and their families, and working with the community of Daly City.
